The CAHOSCC decision provide an opportunity for African countries to be part and parcel of the AfDAN platform. The NDAs from Kingdom of Eswatini, Namibia, Liberia, The Union of Comoros, Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Republic of Kenya have expressed their support for AfDAN establishment. In this regard, the NDAs from African countries are keen on the establishment of AfDAN to enable their formal participation in the Network’s activities. The formal establishment of AfDAN as an Inter-Governmental body and vehicle for climate finance mobilization for the African content shall be endorsed by AfDAN members in Nairobi on 23rd August, 2024.
